Continental GT S (V8) WLTP drive cycle: fuel consumption, l/100km - Combined 12.1. Combined CO₂ Emissions - 275 g/km.

The Continental GT S is a stunning interpretation of Bentley’s iconic Continental GT, with extra sports styling inside and out, alongside a series of enhancements to deliver an even more thrilling drive.

Its black exterior detailing, coupled with a suite of interior additions that are unique to Bentley’s ‘S’ models, make it a car that will stand out from the crowd, wherever you drive it. Yet with four seats and plenty of luggage space, it remains a luxury grand tourer with few – if any – serious rivals.

This car has been designed to make an unforgettable first impression. The brightware – the chrome-finished exterior details seen on almost every Bentley – has been replaced with gloss black detailing, giving the car a darker, meaner edge. Choose a light or bright paint colour and these black details – which include the window surrounds, lamp bezels, tailpipes, door handles and of course, the matrix grille – will add contrast and definition to your car’s sleek lines. On the other hand, if you select a darker shade, your car will take on a stealthier, more understated character. Either way, it makes an incredibly bold statement.

The imposing 21” wheels add further road presence, thanks to a design exclusive to Bentley’s ‘S’ models, which combines both black and bright machined sections. Look between the spokes and you will see the car’s red gloss brake callipers, which can be replaced with optional black ones if you prefer.

Every aspect of the car’s exterior styling is stunning, from the sill extension that makes the body look even lower to the dark tint headlights and tail lamps. Inside, the theme continues, with identifying ‘S’ badges on the treadplates and the fascia – you will even see it embroidered on the seats. The cabin features an exclusive colour split that comprises a primary hide and a secondary hide, plus Dinamica detailing on frequently-touched areas such as the seat bolsters, gear lever and steering wheel. Even the graphics in the driver’s instrument panel follow the car’s sporting theme.

The Continental GT S is built around Bentley’s proven 4.0 litre, twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine. It is capable of phenomenal acceleration, propelling you from 0-60 mph in just 4.0 seconds (0-100 km/h in 4.1 seconds) – a statistic you can put to the test with the Launch Control feature. Its top speed is 198 mph (318 km/h)*.

To ensure that the way your car drives matches your mood, you can choose from any one of four driving modes, including Sport Mode, which instantly configures the engine, transmission, steering and suspension settings for a more thrilling drive.

You’ll even hear the roar of the V8 engine more prominently, thanks to the Sports Exhaust. When you prefer a more relaxed experience, select Comfort mode, or Bentley mode, which offers a balance between the two. The final choice is Custom, which allows you to select your own pre-defined settings.

The car features active all-wheel drive, which means that during normal driving conditions, the car will be running primarily as a rear-wheel drive vehicle. If it detects any of the wheels slipping, however, the system will automatically redistribute some of the engine’s power to the front axle, for additional grip.

You will also benefit from the Bentley Dynamic Ride electronic anti-roll system. Designed to keep the car stable through corners, it automatically adjusts the stiffness of the rollbars, ensuring the quality of the ride is never compromised.

A vast array of digital technology goes into every Continental GT S. As well as the chassis systems mentioned above, it comes with Bentley’s City Specification installed as standard. This package of urban driving assistance features includes a 360° Top View Camera plus numerous systems that can alert you to danger when reversing or manoeuvring in tight spaces. You can also add the optional Touring Specification, which includes a night vision camera, adaptive cruise control and Lane Assist, among other features.

The Bentley Signature Audio System is fitted as standard, however you can upgrade to either the Bang & Olufsen for Bentley system or, for the ultimate audio experience, Naim for Bentley. The car is equipped with its own Wi-Fi hotspot and Apple CarPlay, plus wired and wireless charging facilities for mobile phones. A range of connected services can be accessed via the My Bentley smartphone app, which enables you to locate and contact your car wherever you are – useful if you need to locate it in a busy car park, for example.

Personalising your car to your tastes usually begins with your choice of exterior paint – and the range of options is extremely wide. If you add up the standard options, the extended range and the Mulliner range of satin and pearlescent finishes, there are over 80 colours to choose from.

The exclusive 21” ‘S’ wheels come in three different finishes, yet if you want to inject even more road presence, you can opt for stunning 22” wheels featuring either a painted black finish or stunning Pale Brodgar Satin.

Inside the cabin, you can choose from numerous gloss wood veneers, more minimalist open-pore woods or technical options such as Dark Tint Engine Turned Aluminium. For a luxurious finishing touch, you can add Piano Linen lacquer to the fascia and waistrails. The upholstery can be enhanced with a range of stitching and piping options, including hand cross-stitching. Technology options, meanwhile, include the unique Bentley Rotating Display, which allows you to toggle between the central touchscreen and a trio of handcrafted analogue dials, at the touch of a button.

There are many more options to consider, but if you wish to go even further, Bentley’s personal commissioning division, Mulliner, can help you to create bespoke features for your car. Talk to us today to arrange a visit to our showroom, where you can see some examples for yourself.
